3 Important Questions to Remember
1) What business are you in right now?
This will give you an idea about what the other party is doing. Open your minds to new ideas and you will find many.
Even if the person is not in the same industry, there will definitely be lessons you can learn and possible partnerships you can carve.
2) What support do you need?
Learn about the pains of people in different industries. These are possible gaps that you can help to fill.
Ask them how they deal with it. And train your problem solving skills.
3) How can I support you?
Offer help if possible. This will provide a bridge to future working partnerships.
Learning how you can help and support others will also help you to think creatively and solve problems in new ways.
Now, go out and meet people.
Take interest in their business and provide value to them by brainstorming ideas and possible working partnerships.
